There are five Internet-available English versions of the Sanzijiang I know of.
(1) 三字经译本爆笑板。网上很多。这是把性译是“sex” 来做笑话的译本。有创意。
(2) Trimetric Classic Herbert Giles 所译。被转载很多，但到没有说明出处，及译者是谁的板，是 1910 年
Herbert Giles 所译。网上转来转去的，源出我个人网页(注一)

(注一) 网上流传这版， 源出我个人网页。 大约八年前， 我应汉英论坛的人士提议，把据我在 1969 年在美国一所大学的图书管里无意寻到的 Trimetric Classic by Herbert Giles 的手抄本， 在网上发出来。 (注一)。 因我的手抄本上有笔误， 打字时又有错误， 所以网页上的 “初本” 有留下“特徵笔误。” 后来别人转贴去， 这些“特徵”也转了去。 大约两年前，一位北欧的汉学家来信， 寄来一篇没有错的版本。 现以在个人网页 ([url]http://users.openface.ca/~dstephen/trimetric.htm[/url]) 上贴出。 Note: The reason for it having been transcirpted by hand was that in those days, photocopying was very expensive. The going rate at that time was 25 cents (U.S.) per page, as compare to 5 to 7 cent per page nowadays. Also, when taking into account that a Big Mac cost about 35 cents in 1969, that 25 cents was quite a bit of money. Being a poor graduate student at that time, I simply could not afford to photocopy 20 or more pages of photocopying.
